If you’ve worked with WordPress before, you may know how much of a headache updating a theme can be. It’s a long, manual process.
WordPress should, but does not support one-click updates for themes. It does for plugins, but not for themes. Well, this plugin called “Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades” does exactly that.
You basically install the plugin and activate it. Then, when you upload the new version of a theme (a .zip file) — it automatically backs up the current version, and updates the theme for you.
Definitely joining my list of WordPress essential plugins.
