Vibe — IRL Hangout & Expense Settlement App
An app for meeting compatible people nearby, planning real-world events, and settling shared expenses together — without the social-media noise.
CONSUMER APP
IRL connection without the doomscroll
Vibe (govibe.win) is a consumer app focused on In-Real-Life hangouts: it helps people meet compatible nearby, organize events, and split the bill afterwards — closing the loop between "let's hang out" and "who owes what" in a single place.
What we built
- Discovery + matching — a lightweight compatibility model that surfaces people nearby with overlapping interests, without pretending to be a dating app or a feed.
- Event planning — small-group events with the social etiquette baked in: confirmations, reminders, and a shared notes thread.
- Expense settlement — split a bar tab, dinner, or weekend trip with the group. Tracks who paid what, settles in a tap, no separate Venmo-then-Splitwise-then-text dance.
- App-store-grade UX — onboarding, push notifications, deep links, and the kind of empty-state polish that takes real product design.
The bet
Modern social apps optimize for engagement at the expense of actually seeing each other. Vibe inverts that — the win condition is "you met up in person and didn't have to argue about money." Built with a Next.js front-end on Cloudflare, a typed backend, and the same disciplined delivery rhythm we apply to client work.
